Who we are
HomeHealthGuide (“we”) is operated by HomeHealthGuide (proprietor: Dr. Devanshu Rathee, MD, Reg. No. 117010). Clinical reviews and consultations are provided personally by Dr. Devanshu Rathee, MD (Internal Medicine), Reg. No. 117010. What we collect
(a) Account data: name, age, phone/email. (b) Health data you log or send: blood pressure, blood sugar, weight, symptoms, reports, chat messages sent for review. (c) Payment confirmation data (processed by Razorpay; we do not store card/UPI credentials). (d) Usage analytics (event data; see “Analytics” below).
Why we collect it
1. To show you your own readings and trends. 2. To deliver paid doctor reviews/consultations you request and keep the medical records the law requires. 3. To send service messages (reminders, review delivery). 4. With your separate opt-in: the Morning Health Brief and marketing updates. 5. To improve the service using de-identified analytics. We collect only what each purpose needs and use it for no other purpose.
Consent
Each purpose is consented to separately, in plain language, and you may withdraw any consent at any time in Settings → Privacy or by writing to us. Withdrawal stops future processing; medical records already created are retained as law requires.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share it only with: Google Firebase (hosting/database, India region asia-south1), our AI-service provider (for features you invoke, e.g. report summaries — sent with minimum necessary data), Razorpay (payments), MailerLite (email you opted into), Meta/WhatsApp (messages you send us on WhatsApp), and analytics providers. Each processor is bound by contract to use data only on our instructions.
Storage and security
Data is stored in India (asia-south1). Sensitive collections are server-write-only, isolated per user, and encrypted in transit and at rest.
Retention and deletion
You can delete your account and data in-app (“Delete all my data”) or by email; deletion, including backups, completes within 90 days. Medical consultation records are retained for the period required for medical records in India, then deleted.
Your rights
Access, correction, erasure, grievance redressal, and the right to nominate a person to exercise your rights. Write to grievance@homehealthguide.in — acknowledgment within 48 hours, resolution within 30 days. If unresolved, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
Our services are for adults 18+. We do not knowingly process children’s data.
Analytics and links
We use UTM parameters and Google Analytics/Firebase Analytics events to understand which pages and messages are useful. This data is not used to make decisions about your health.
